About me!

My name is Aylinne Alcala. I was born in the Dominican Republic in November,29,2008. I am currently a junior in high school. As someone who's latina, I love to cook, dance, and embrace my culture everywhere I go. I have a younger brother, who's usually the one that I'm always with, and I have an older sister.I speak fluently 2 languages and I'm in an advanced level of Italian. Since the age of 14, I've been interested in becoming a criminal psychologist and obtaining my second major in International Studies.Now, as my interest in computer science has arrived, I want to have a minor in computer science or computer engineering.

Fun facts!

I went to Taiwan in 2023 for a month to learn mandarin.

I am part of the NYPD explorers program. I won a Diplomatic Security Service award for best essay of 2024!

I write poetry for fun. I started with despising poetry, then I joined the potry club in my school and traveled to Australia to compete against South Koreans and Australians at the Adelaide Festival. We won!

I am a 7th Day Adventist and a pathfinder. We go camping and connect with God by having morning walks,music,and outdoor activities!
